I think one of the connecting factors the Jedi Community shares these days is knowing the early days are lost to them. Not all Jedi share an appreciation or enjoyment of our history. Some even argue against its purpose and use. Claiming that history is a waste of time to learn about and a waste of time to preserve. I feel differently. I have for some time. But I have not always been good at preserving history. I have lost more than I have recovered. Perhaps it is karma. I have certainly played my part in the loss of Jedi history.
Either way - changes are happening. Yuku like Ez-board before it is not a stable giant that will last forever. Though after a couple years we sort to feel that way. We think our information is safe, secure, saved forever on the net. At any time we can jump to an old link and still have all those lessons and lecture waiting for us. But as we have learned time and again - that isn't always the case.
I have continually gone to old ez-board leftovers merged on too yuku and post something. This helps keep it from the garbage pile, at least a little bit. Puts us a tiny bit higher on the list. The past couple years have been a roller coaster for me. And in such I have neglected my random posts. I'll look to pick that up. Return to my old habit of posting my Random Ramblings to every Jedi site I knew. In this, hopefully we can hold onto our history a bit longer.
The lessons and lectures here are golden. Not perfect. Not enlightened. Simply of a time innocent out of ignorance. There are valuable lessons here. Morken proposed many ideas ahead of their time. If you are reading this - take the time to enjoy some Jedi History. Add your own two cents for future wanderers of the past.
